iMovie for iPhone 4 – app review

iMovie for iPhone 4 video editing application for iPhone is designed by Apple. iMovie is also the name of the video-editing software that is with iLife, which comes with every Mac iMovie for iPhone 4th (Do not be sad, it needs more memory and processing power of Apple A4).

As with most Apple products, iMovie is very easy to use and quite intuitive. If a tap does not do what you want is a double tap. iMovie can be used vertically or horizontally, but the view seems more natural.

While in edit mode, the center of the screen showing the film, the bottom of the screen are the timeline and the sides of the screen options: Projects, Media Upload Media upload directly from the room and play. In the selection of media to add the project, there are three tabs: videos, photos and music. The films are listed in reverse chronological order, but the photos are listed chronologically. I find it annoying because it is very likely that the photos that I choose was a recent photo and scroll down through hundreds each time it will be boring. Not to mention, the picture scroll delay. This must be remedied.

Edit your movies is a breeze. You can drag the clips around the edges of the clips, add titles, quickly switch between subjects, and minor changes at the transitions. If there is a clip or photo you want to remove, simply drag it from the timeline. One thing I remember about titles, though. They are very nice, but can not change their length. The licenses are automatically the same length of clips that have the title that stuck. Another simple feature that is missing is the ability to add text on a colored background.

While there are some little things missing are iMovie, I found this a very good and quick way to edit a video. This is an early version of the application, and I'm looking forward to changes that Apple may, in order to bring it into the future. For only $ 4.99, iMovie is worth every penny.
